Benchmark Performance
The Xiaomi 17 Pro benchmark has surfaced on Geekbench ahead of the official launch later this month. The device carries the model number 25098PN5AC and runs the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It recorded a single-core score of 3096 and a multi-core score of 9382.
An updated listing also revealed results for the Xiaomi 17 Pro Max with the model number 2509FPN0BC. That version achieved an even higher performance, scoring 3812 on single-core and 11,993 on multi-core. While Apple’s A19 Pro surpasses 4000 points in single-core, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 leads in multi-core capability.
Processor and Software
According to the listing, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 uses an Octa-Core setup with two prime Oryon cores clocked at 4.61 GHz and six secondary cores running at 3.63 GHz. This matches earlier benchmark leaks from the OnePlus 15 powered by the same chipset.
The device is paired with 16GB of RAM and is expected to ship with Android 16 out of the box. It will also feature HyperOS 3, which Xiaomi is set to announce alongside the 17 series.

Camera and Battery Details
The Xiaomi 17 Pro is expected to feature a Leica triple rear camera system. Reports suggest a 50MP main camera with f/1.67 aperture, a telephoto lens with f/3.0 aperture, and an ultra-wide sensor with a 17mm focal length. The telephoto lens will also provide up to 5x optical zoom, adding flexibility to its photography setup.
The device is also rumored to pack a 6300mAh battery. Charging support includes 100W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging, offering flagship-level power management.
Launch Expectations
With benchmark results already making headlines, the Xiaomi 17 Pro series looks set to compete strongly against rivals like the OPPO Find X9 Pro powered by Dimensity 9500 and Apple’s A19 Pro. The official launch later this month should reveal more details on pricing, variants, and availability.
