Design and Display

Xiaomi has confirmed the Xiaomi Pad 8 series, set to launch in China later this month alongside the Xiaomi 17 lineup. The teaser image highlights support for a keyboard and stylus, continuing the productivity focus of its predecessors. The tablet will feature an 11.2-inch classic size, described as lightweight and portable by Xiaomi GM Lu Weibing.

Reports suggest that all models will use an 11.16-inch LCD with a high refresh rate. This ensures smoother visuals and better responsiveness for both entertainment and work.

Performance Upgrades

The Xiaomi Pad 8 series will be powered by high-performance processors. A benchmark listing under the model number 25091RP04C revealed the Snapdragon 8 Elite SoC, paired with 16GB of RAM and Android 16. This marks a significant leap compared to the Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 used in the Xiaomi Pad 7 Pro.

The new tablets will also debut with Xiaomi’s HyperOS 3, promising double the efficiency compared to previous versions. This software upgrade positions the Pad 8 series as not just a hardware refresh but a major ecosystem enhancement.
