vivo has introduced the vivo Y31 5G and the vivo Y31 Pro 5G in India. The Y31 is the successor to last year’s Y29 and brings a larger 6500mAh battery with 44W FlashCharge, improved dust and water resistance, and stereo speakers. The Y31 Pro 5G, on the other hand, offers a higher-end processor and upgraded display features.
Specifications and Features
The vivo Y31 5G has a 6.68-inch LCD with 120Hz refresh rate and 1000 nits brightness. It uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 chip, paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB storage, expandable via microSD. Camera duties are handled by a 50MP rear camera and an 8MP front sensor. Moreover, the phone is IP68 and IP69 certified, offering a triple-layer water-resistant design for stronger durability.
The vivo Y31 Pro 5G features a 6.72-inch FHD+ screen with 120Hz refresh rate and 1050 nits brightness. It runs on the MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset, with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB UFS 3.1 storage. It includes a 50MP rear sensor with 4K video support and an 8MP front camera. While both phones share the same 6500mAh battery and 44W charging, the Pro model is tuned for better performance and display quality.
