Samsung Galaxy XR is gaining renewed attention after new bundle deals appeared in the United States, offering discounts and additional perks for buyers of the premium mixed reality headset. The device, which launched as Samsung’s first major extended reality product, continues to hold its original price but now comes with several promotional offers.
The Samsung Galaxy XR headset currently sells for $1,799 in the US market. Customers can purchase the device outright or through flexible payment options. Samsung allows buyers to pay $75.01 per month or split the cost into four biweekly installments.
Although the headset’s price has remained stable since launch, Samsung has reintroduced bundle discounts on accessories that expand the device’s functionality. These promotions make the overall purchase more appealing for users exploring mixed reality for the first time.

Samsung Galaxy XR bundle discounts return

Samsung has restored bundle offers that include discounted accessories for the Samsung Galaxy XR headset. Buyers who purchase the optional Galaxy XR controllers together with the headset can receive a 15% discount.
The controllers enhance interaction inside virtual and mixed reality environments. They provide more precise motion tracking and allow users to interact with digital objects naturally.
Because the controllers sold out previously, their return to stock is notable for customers considering the XR ecosystem.
Samsung has also applied a similar 15% bundle discount to another accessory. Buyers who purchase the Galaxy XR Travel Case together with the headset receive a price reduction.
The travel case typically costs $249, making it one of the more expensive accessories for the headset. However, the bundle promotion lowers the effective price for customers who want protection when carrying the device.

Samsung Galaxy XR competes in premium XR market

The Samsung Galaxy XR headset represents the company’s entry into the growing mixed reality industry. The device blends augmented reality and virtual reality technologies to create immersive digital experiences.
At present, the headset has relatively few direct competitors.
Apple’s Vision Pro stands as the main rival in the high-end mixed reality segment. Both devices target consumers interested in immersive computing experiences rather than traditional gaming-focused VR headsets.
Samsung’s XR platform supports a variety of applications designed for productivity, entertainment, and immersive media.
The device also integrates with Samsung’s wider ecosystem of smartphones and smart devices.
This ecosystem approach allows users to connect their headset with other Samsung hardware for seamless interaction across devices.

Samsung is also promoting the headset with a bundle of digital content valued at more than $1,140.
The package includes several popular virtual reality applications and subscriptions designed to showcase the headset’s capabilities.
Among the included services is NBA League Pass, which allows fans to watch basketball games through immersive viewing experiences.
Sports fans can also access NFL PRO ERA, a virtual reality American football game that places players inside realistic stadium environments.
In addition, the bundle features the VR title ASTEROID, a $20 game designed to demonstrate mixed reality gaming mechanics.
Samsung describes the promotion as an invitation for users to “march into courtside madness,” highlighting sports-related experiences available through the headset.
The inclusion of these services helps new users explore mixed reality content immediately after purchasing the device.

Mixed reality market continues expanding

Extended reality technology has rapidly evolved in recent years as major technology companies invest heavily in immersive computing platforms.
Mixed reality devices combine digital graphics with real-world surroundings to create interactive experiences that go beyond traditional screens.
Samsung Galaxy XR represents one of the most ambitious attempts to bring this technology to mainstream consumers.
Although the product remains relatively new, early reviews have explored the headset’s design, interface, and immersive capabilities in detail.
The device offers a glimpse into how future computing systems may move beyond smartphones and laptops toward spatial computing environments.
With bundle deals returning and accessories back in stock, Samsung appears eager to attract more users to the Samsung Galaxy XR ecosystem as the mixed reality market continues to develop.
