OPPO F31 Series 5G Launch
OPPO has officially launched the OPPO F31, F31 Pro, and F31 Pro+ 5G smartphones in India. The new series focuses on durability, battery life, and thermal management. Each phone carries a 7000mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging. In addition, a 360° Armour Body enhances protection. With IP69, IP68, and IP66 ratings, these devices resist dust, water, and drops effectively.
Thermal Design and Performance
The OPPO F31 Pro+ uses Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 processor built on a 4nm process. It supports up to 24GB of RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Moreover, the 5219 mm² vapor chamber, larger than the previous generation, improves cooling.
The OPPO F31 Pro runs on MediaTek’s Dimensity 7300-Energy chipset. It also supports up to 24GB RAM with UFS 3.1 storage. Its 4363 mm² vapor chamber, combined with graphite sheets, helps control heat more efficiently.
The standard OPPO F31 features the Dimensity 6300 SoC. It comes with up to 12GB RAM and UFS 2.2 storage. Furthermore, its 4300 mm² vapor chamber boosts thermal efficiency by 21% over the earlier model.

System Fluency and AI Tools
All OPPO F31 Series 5G models ship with ColorOS 15. The Dual-Engine Smoothness System combines the Trinity Engine and the Luminous Rendering Engine. As a result, users get better long-term performance. OPPO guarantees two years of OS upgrades and three years of security updates.
The series integrates AI-powered tools. For example, AI VoiceScribe records meetings with real-time translation in 29 languages. AI Call Assistant translates live calls using Google’s Gemini model. In addition, OPPO Docs rewrites and summarizes documents, while the Notes Assistant corrects errors and organizes text.
Camera and Multimedia
The OPPO F31 Pro+ has a 50MP main sensor with OIS and a 2MP monochrome lens, paired with a 32MP selfie camera. The OPPO F31 Pro includes the same 50MP setup but adds optical zoom. The standard OPPO F31 carries a 50MP sensor with two 2MP portrait lenses and a 16MP front camera. All models record 4K video at 30fps. Moreover, underwater photography works up to 1.5 meters for 30 minutes thanks to IP68 protection.
Battery and Charging
Every phone in the OPPO F31 Series 5G features a 7000mAh battery with 80W fast charging. Consequently, users can charge up to 58% in 30 minutes and reach full capacity in just over one hour. The devices also support reverse charging. While gaming, bypass charging sends power directly to the phone to reduce heat.
Pricing and Availability
The OPPO F31 is available in Midnight Blue, Cloud Green, and Bloom Red. It costs Rs. 22,999 for the 8GB + 128GB version and Rs. 24,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant.
The OPPO F31 Pro comes in Desert Gold and Space Grey. Pricing starts at Rs. 26,999 for the 8GB + 128GB model. The 8GB + 256GB model costs Rs. 28,999, while the 12GB + 256GB version is priced at Rs. 30,999.
The OPPO F31 Pro+ arrives in Gemstone Blue, Himalayan White, and Festive Pink. The 8GB + 256GB version costs Rs. 32,999, and the 12GB + 256GB model is priced at Rs. 34,999.
Orders are open now through OPPO’s online store, Amazon.in, Flipkart, and retail outlets. Both the F31 and F31 Pro series will be available from September 27.
